C18 German master-builders. Dominikus and Johann Baptist Wiedemann realized J. B. Neumann's designs for the great Benedictine Abbey Church at Neresheim after the latter's death in 1753, one of the finest late-Baroque churches in all Europe. Christian Wiedemann began the Benedictine Abbey Church at Wiblingen (1732), continued after 1750 by J. M. Fischer, and completed by Johann G. Specht (1721–83): he also contributed to the design of the beautiful Baroque Library at Wiblingen.
