was influenced by Keble, participated in the Oxford Movement, and contributed to Tracts for the Times. He was author of poems in Lyra Apostolica and other poetical works including The Cathedral (1838) and The Baptistery (1842). His autobiography (edited by Sir G. Prevost, 1892) is an interesting record of the days of the Oxford Movement.
