supposed victim of a Jewish ritual murder. An apprentice at Norwich, he was enticed from his home on the Monday in Holy Week 1144 and on Holy Saturday his body was found with marks of violence. He was alleged to have been crucified by Jews during the Passover. Feast day at Norwich, 26 Mar.; elsewhere, 25 Mar.
