poet and royal biographer. He was chaplain to the Emps. Conrad II and Henry III. His best-known work is the ‘Victimae paschali laudes’ (q.v.). His Gesta Chuonradi Imperatoris is one of the main sources for the reign of Conrad II (1024–39).
