A program of health promotion at the work place, often sponsored and wholly or partly funded by employer/employee partnerships, usually with participation of organizations, such as coalitions of management and labor organizations. Such programs typically provide or sponsor early detection programs, such as Pap tests and mammography, as well as fitness regimens led by trained professionals. In some Scandinavian programs, workers' families are included in the service.
