A weight-training exercise for strengthening the muscles of the wrist (figure 70).

▪ Sit on a bench or chair with your elbows resting on your thighs just behind your knees. With palms facing upwards and your arms parallel to the floor, grip a barbell in your hands. Slowly, raise and lower the barbell using only the muscles in your wrists; do not move your arms.
