A tīrtha in the Himālayas at the source of the Yamunā river in modern day Uttaranchal (Uttarakhand). Pilgrims worship the divyaśilā (‘divine stone’), a pillar of rock, before entering the temple to the goddess Yamunā which lies below the glacier. The area is also known for its thermal springs.
