Italian Aristotelian philosopher who taught at Padua. He was important to the development of Aristotelian logic in the direction of natural philosophy, methodology and theory of knowledge. His works include commentaries on several books of Aristotle, as well as Opera logica (1578), De naturalis scientiae constitutione (1586), and De rebus naturalibus (1590).
