Apparatus designed by the Swedish physician J. G. W. Zander to enable a person to perform, within a gymnasium, various exercises that are usually performed only out of doors. The apparatus includes machines for exercising specific muscles used in rowing, bicycling, and horseback riding. It also has components for moving joints to increase their suppleness after injury.
