Martyr and priest, titular of the basilica on the Appian Way. Feast (often with Vitalis and Felicula, whose connection with him is extremely slight); 14 February, in R.M. and at Barking and Malmesbury. William of Malmesbury mentioned his basilica. Some authorities make him a brother of Valentine, but this seems to be an error.
