A scientific institution at the University of Bremen, Germany. ZARM researches the guidance, navigation, and control of spacecraft, and has conducted several experiments aboard NASA's space shuttles. It has conducted extensive research on fluid mechanics under microgravity conditions. Its best-known facility is the Drop Tower Bremen, a 146-m concrete shaft that provides 4.74 seconds of weightlessness to objects dropped down it.
