A drug in the World-Doping Agency's 2005 Prohibited List of anabolic agents. Clenbuterol has stimulatory effects similar to adrenaline, and anabolic effects similar to steroids. As a stimulant, it is used to treat asthma, but clenbuterol has also been abused as an ergogenic aid in sport.
