(Skt., saṃpanna-krama). The second phase of meditational practice (sādhana) associated with the anuttara-yoga-tantras in general and especially with the so-called Mother Tantras such as the Hevajra Tantra. It involves the use of creative imagination or visualization but emphasizes the emptiness (śūnyatā) aspect of reality as a means of personal transformation, characteristically attending to the mystic centres (cakras) and subtle energy (vāyu) together with the channels (nāḍī) through which the energy flows in order to generate the great bliss associated with enlightenment (bodhi).
