Lozenge-fret consisting of intersecting fillets or thin beads forming lozenge- or diamond-shaped patterns repeated in series. It occurs in Romanesque work as a variation on chevron or zig-zag mouldings (using round rod-like elements) and in C18 Chinoiserie and Gothick (using flat strips, fillets, or square sections).
