US dancer and choreographer. He took up dance while studying philosophy at Antioch College and later trained with Cunningham and Forti. During the 1960s he performed with Meredith Monk. His own dances have typically combined rapid, repetitive movement with spoken monologues on scientific and philosophical issues, such as his solo Upper Atmospheric Disturbances (1995) and the duet (with Frances Alenikoff) www//alenikoffking.com (1997). He is author of several articles and the book Writing in Motion (2003).
