(b St Petersburg, 15 Dec. 1780; d St Petersburg, 30 Mar. 1869)
Russian dancer and teacher. As a student at the Imperial Ballet School she performed many children's roles and was a favoured pupil of Valberg. She subsequently became a favourite of Didelot, creating roles in, among others, Raoul de Créquis (1819) and also directing the school during his absence (an exceptional status for a woman during that period). An unusually dramatic dancer, she also appeared as an actress.
