An American organization teaching a form of Kashmiri Trika Yoga. It was founded in 1971 in Portland, Oregon by the American-born Swami Chetananda, and has meditation centres in a number of North American cities, Oslo, and Kathmandu. It traces its guru lineage to Swami Nityānanda, whose pupil, Swami Muktānanda, initiated both Chetananda (in 1978) and his immediate teacher, the former New York art dealer, Swami Rudrananda (in 1966). Various allegations have been made about the propriety of the organization and its leader.
