British architect, he established Eric Parry Architects in 1983. Among his works may be cited the conservation of the Château de Paulin, Tarn, France (from 1987), offices at Stockley Park, London (1989–91), the Club Building, Chiswick Park, London (1989–91), Health Centre, Market Rasen, Lincs. (1989–91), works at Old Wardour House, Wilts. (from 1990), the Lipton Residence, London (1991), Master's Lodge and Student Accommodation, Pembroke College, Cambridge (1993–8), Sussex Innovation Centre, Falmer, Sussex (1994–6), Granta Park Master-Plan, South Cambs. (1996–9), Taylor Residence, London (1997–8), the Southwark Gateway and Tourist Information Centre, London (1997–9), refurbishment of the Mandarin Oriental Hotel, London (1997–2000), the library at Bedford School (2001–4), and works at 30 Finsbury Square, 10 Paternoster Square, and London Wall (2003–5), all three in the City of London. He won (2001) the competition to renovate the site and Church of St Martin-in-the-Fields, scheduled for completion 2007. Parry has exhibited several examples of his fine draughtsmanship.
