(1815–1892), churchman and antiquarian. Born in Charleville, Co. Cork, he studied medicine at TCD. His Life of Columba (1857) collated Adamnán's life with other sources, including Maghnus Ó Dom-hnaill's biography. He acquired the Book of Armagh for the TCD Library.
