Russian dancer. She trained at the Moscow State Choreographic School, winning several awards, including first prize at the Vaganova Competition, before graduating in 2002. She joined the Berlin Staatsoper Ballet as principal the same year, and became the regular partner of Vladimir Malakhov. A tall, technically powerful dancer with a distinctively lush line, she has additionally guested with other companies, including English National Ballet, Paris Opera, American Ballet Theatre, the Mariinsky, and National Ballet of Canada.
