Chemical and physical manipulation attempted in order to alter the integrity and validity of urine or blood samples taken from athletes as part of doping controls. Such tampering is on the World Anti Doping Agency's List of prohibited methods, and includes, but is not limited to intravenous infusions (except as a legitimate acute medical treatment), urine substitution, and catheterization.
