A year ago, London and other parts of the UK, erupted with disorder. This article looks back at the disorder through the lens of the criminal histories of those arrested. Most of those sanctioned as a result of the disorder are likely to be back in their neighbourhoods, the majority of the sites of the disorder. We plead for more progress on offender management that is proactive, and that the developments that weld policing to offender management is needed.
