Lucas, Norman Bernard Charles (1901–1980), headmaster, was born on 2 January 1901 at 3 Salisbury Terrace, Craven Road, Newbury, Berkshire, the son of Allan Lucas, solicitor, and his wife, Norah Eveline Brooks.
