This chapter presents a case study concerning the author's social work experience with a three generation Jamaican family. It explains that Anna has a three-year-old child Khadia whose father was her step-brother Roy. Roy was prosecuted and found guilty of four charges of unlawful sexual intercourse and sentenced to one year's imprisonment. In the counselling of Anna and her mother Carol, both failed to see that Anna and Roy's sexual relationship as child sex abuse and both see Roy's prosecution as a means to force Roy to take responsibility for his paternity.
