This second UK case study details the work and ethos of an innovative project, the Halton Neighbourhood Travel Team (NTT), intended to address issues of social exclusion and transport. It describes the personalised travel-planning programme that is being delivered to job seekers in Halton, a small local authority located to the south of Liverpool, in the north west of England, as part of its return-to-work programme. The principal actions of the NTT have been to introduce/manage: a Personalised Journey Planning service; student travel packs and college services; subsidised works services; and a journey-share website.
