This chapter aims to expose the distinctiveness of Welsh rural racism, particularly two of its dimensions. It explores whether there is a single Welsh rural racism, or whether different minority ethnic people have different experiences. These experiences would depend on who they are, where they live, and who they come in contact with. The chapter then considers if rural racism in Wales can be considered distinctive by virtue of who perpetrates it.

Keywords: rural racism; Wales; minority ethnic people; distinctiveness
