This chapter describes a new species of Miroculis mayfly from male and female imagos from streams in the region of Serranía de Chiribiquet National Park in Colombia. This species, called Miroculis chiribiquette, is distinguished from other Miroculis species by hyaline wings in both sexes, the presence of prominent basal hooks of the penes of the male, and an expanded opening of sternum seven of the female. The chapter also provides a description of the female imagos and nymphs of Miroculis nebulosus, and ecological data on swarming of Miroculis chiribiquette.
