This chapter lists general information on the San Francisco Bay area such as information services, railroad stations, bus stations, sightseeing buses, airports, taxis, streetcars and buses, bridges, piers, theatres and motion picture houses, dance halls and hotels, and night clubs. San Francisco has 1,326 hotels and rooming houses—more per capita, it is said, than any other city in the world.
