My topic is the failure of liberal morality. After a brief discussion of what is meant by liberal morality, I shall concentrate on two subjects: First, why is political conservatism the dominant ideology in the United States, and, second, why is the countercultural alternative not an effective challenge to the dominance of conservatism.
