This chapter discusses the growing prominence of the Sa'Baniye order onto the Kastamonu region. The prominence of the Sa'Baniye order was due to the Menākib's success among its audience in the Kastamonu region. The spread of Fu'ādī's hagiography not only consolidated the order at the time when a new generation of followers that were increasingly distanced from its subject emerged, but the Menākib also created an impact which resonated far beyond the Sa'Baniye order. In addition, the growing acclaim for the Menākib also led to attempts to transform the burial place of Sa'bān-I Velī into a fully fledged Sufi institution. This infrastructure building further swelled the order's following, which required more educational initiatives to prepare the order for the growing challenges that emerged during a religiously and politically turbulent eleventh/seventeenth century.
