By seeing beauty in the figure of woman, man discloses himself. That is his relaxation or sobriety before the possibility of disclosing himself in the outer world. What is disclosed is revealed as separateness from himself. In it he sees a sign about God. To follow the Praiser means to get to know oneself, in order for it to be made apparent that there is no self other than the Self. Perfect humanity is the harmony of the spirit as the male and active principle and the soul as female and receptive. That harmony proclaims oneness, as the everywhere and always present Face. To know the soul or the self means to know the Lord. The need for that is love, and that is love of God. To love a woman means to love God. Neither the place nor the time of the revelation of goodness and beauty may be replaced by what is revealed. Unity and satisfaction in unity can be known only through return to multiplicity and contingency.

Keywords: beauty; woman; relaxation; God; separateness; harmony; female
