This chapter discusses the fundamental aporias of European philosophy inextricably connected to historein of the cultural and political roots of European history. These roots could not even be conceived without a geographic definition and without the determination of the European borders, because, in order to make the city obedient to justice, it is necessary to get to know its true origin and to risk the travel in the long sleep of the past. One must think, but in order to think it will be necessary first to know ourselves; because, without knowing one's identity, it will be impossible to confront the other.
