These include an increase in citizen activism among successful and affluent business leaders, an increase in public–private partnerships, and the role of women in creating strategic and effective Arab philanthropy. It then offers some general recommendations that may help to unleash greater potential for the Arab philanthropic sector and enhance its effectiveness.
