This chapter aims to discuss the existing relationship between culture and language and the inseparable connectedness of culture and language. It discusses the content of culture in teaching and learning Chinese as a foreign language. The present chapter also tackles ways of classifying the Chinese culture in the same manner as classifying language skills. In addition to discussing the relationship of culture and language, the chapter also provides activities ideal for teaching and learning the Chinese language through Chinese culture. The latter sections of the chapter discuss assessment methods for evaluating culture proficiency and the implications of the current work, future research, and the practice of teaching and learning culture in the language school.
