This chapter examines the management of the collaborative process in international e-learning projects in the context of program management. It explores the challenges that the eChina-UK project members experienced during their collaborations and the ways in which they handled them. The findings indicate that similarities and differences in professional beliefs and practices must be explored in advance and that communication and collaboration protocols must also be agreed in advance.
