This chapter discusses the author's recollection of her high school years at the Subsidiary High School of the Beijing Central Academy of Fine Arts in China. It relates her observations that her male and female classmates never spoke two one another at all during her first two years in that school. This appears to be contrary to common belief that artists are sexually open-minded. This chapter also explains how she learned about the biological facts about womanhood from watching foreign films.
