This chapter continues to describe the events of December 25. Motor torpedo boats assembled off Ap Lei Chau, a small island near Aberdeen on the south side of Hong Kong Island, to await Chan Chak, David MacDougall, and the rest of the party, who were late in arriving. As they waited, more British naval and other personnel joined the group.
