This chapter discusses one of Fermilab's paths to megascience which was via the experiment strings. These relate to large experiments and their follow-ups, corresponding to long-lived (typically more than twenty years) research traditions within the laboratory's experimental program. This chapter discusses Mark Bodnarczuk's work on the history of these experiments and highlights some of the key topics of these experiment strings. These include kaon decays, neutral hyperon beam, neutrino scattering, P-west high intensity, and charmed particles with photon and charged hadron beams.
