This chapter focuses on Tooy's reunion with his wife Ma Yaai. When Tooy saw Ma Yaai he immediately ushered her into his Wenti chamber, where her god and his joined them almost immediately. This chapter provides a transcript of Tooy and Ma Yaai's conversation inside the Wenti chamber. It also explains that most of the Wentis that Tooy spends his time thinking about are saltwater gods such as Basi Yontini or Mama Nyamutu and that Tooy believes that there are connections between saltwater Wentis and Papagadu or boa constrictor gods.
