Show Summary Details

The Gay Games are a sports and cultural festival held every four years, mainly organized by members of the LGBTQ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer) community. The first Gay Games were organized in 1982 and have taken place in North America, Europe, and Australia. Although the Gay Games have developed into a major event, attracting more than 10,000 participants as well as up to a million spectators, they continue to be plagued by financial difficulties.
