Andreas Peter Madsen worked on the decoration of the Thorvaldsen Museum, and exhibited animal paintings from 1846. He painted frescoes at the school of agriculture and the zoological museum in Copenhagen. He executed etchings of landscapes, animals and portraits. He illustrated his archaeological works himself....
