Marcello Nizzoli studied architecture in Parma, then followed courses in the graphic arts. He was a founder member of the Nueve Tendenze (New Tendency) group of artists once described by the critic G.U. Arata as the 'right wing of Futurism'. Nizzoli produced publicity material, textile designs, book covers and the like before concentrating on drawing and collage, producing abstract pieces and, his specialty, photo-montages....
