Roderick Buchanan studied Environmental Art at Glasgow School of Art and completed an MA in Fine Arts at the University of Ulster. He lives and works in Glasgow.

In his videos, installations, screen projections, sculptures and photographs, Buchanan takes his hometown of Glasgow as a vantage point from which to explore global issues of national, social, cultural and religious identity.
