(b Leskow, Bohemia, c1635; d Tönning, Schleswig-Holstein, 1680). German composer. His presence as Kantor in Flensburg can be established from 1653. In 1655 he married Anna Catherina, daughter of Johannes Rhenius, assistant Rektor at Husum; Thomas Selle wrote a six-part motet for the occasion. In 1663 he applied unsuccessfully to follow Selle at the Johanneum Lateinschule in Hamburg. In autumn 1664 he left Flensburg to become Kantor in Tönning;
