It was used to issue 7-inch records with close grooving, which were pressed by the Nutmeg Record Corporation for a short period from November 1928, and which offered the same playing time as ordinary 10-inch discs. The recordings were made by Emerson. Marathon’s catalogue included items by Rosa Henderson and one fine recording by a black band, Jackson and his Southern Stompers, the members of which have not been conclusively identified....
