A national UK organization that was formed in 2006 following the demise of the Learning and Skills Development Agency. It is a non‐profit organization which provides practical support by delivering quality improvement and staff development programmes for the learning and skills sector. Such programmes are provided directly to schools, colleges, and training organizations, practitioners, and policy‐makers. The programmes are offered to support current government quality improvement initiatives in education and training through research, staff training events, or on a consultancy basis.
