In this paper, an adaptive control scheme is developed to study the anti-synchronization behavior of time-delayed chaotic neural networks with unknown parameters. This adaptive anti-synchronization controller is designed based on Lyapunov-Krasovskii theory and an analytic expression of the controller with its adaptive laws of parameters is shown. The proposed synchronization method guarantees the asymptotical anti-synchronization of drive and response systems. Furthermore, this method reduces the effect of external disturbance to an norm constraint. The proposed controller can be obtained by solving a linear matrix inequality (LMI) problem. An illustrative example is given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
