The Quantum Transfer Matrix method based on the Suzuki-Trotter formulation is applied to dynamical problems. The autocorrelation functions of the Transverse Ising chain are derived by this method as an example. The Trotter-directional correlation functions are interpreted as a Matsubara's temperature Green function, so that the analytic continuation of the Green functions yields the desired autocorrelation functions.
