In this afterword, readers are asked to imagine how Agile and Scrum might be used to transform higher education structures. The reader is asked to imagine what would happen if academic committees were run like Scrum teams. The next scenario asks readers to consider what mentoring students and fellow faculty would look like if the Agile approach was common. Readers are then asked to imagine how academic programs might look if they were sprint-based rather than semester-based. Considering research, readers are asked to imagine how research teams and research agendas might be housed in interdisciplinary and collaborative Agile centers rather than departments. Readers are asked to consider how an Agile approach might change academic publishing.
