René Liénard de Saint-Délis, the brother of Henri de Saint-Délis, was a pupil of Othon Friesz and exhibited at the Salon des Indépendants from 1905. He belonged to the Le Havre School and was initially influenced by Boudin and the Impressionists, but later painted in a more realist style. He depicted seascapes, landscapes and still-lifes, but his treatment was somewhat coarse....
